Two big trials published in two days
Full TRIUMPH-1 results hit the New England Journal of Medicine on Sept 29 (25.0% average weight loss at the top dose, counting everyone) and TRIUMPH-2 in people with type 2 diabetes was presented at EASD on Sept 30. Still investigational; Lilly plans to file with the FDA in early 2027.

Closer to a legal compounding path
After an FDA advisory committee voted 8-6 in July to recommend it for the 503A Bulks List, people are watching for the FDA's next step. Human evidence is still thin (grade D), and no proposed rule had been published as of Oct 1.

Approved April 1, 2026 and taken once a day without timing it around meals or water, it starts at $149 a month cash. Fun fact: it acts on the GLP-1 receptor but is a small molecule, not a peptide.

The copper peptide of skincare
A long-studied ingredient in serums for skin and hair, now buzzing on social media. Injectable GHK-Cu came off the FDA's restricted list in April 2026, with an advisory review expected by February 2027. Human evidence is still early (grade C).

Wegovy without the needle, from $149
